Hyrox

HY5 Lafayette HYROX Training includes all 8 of the Hyrox stations. We also include running during the workouts and programmed longer runs (6-10km)  to build endurance for this lengthy hybrid race.

ABOUT

HYROX is a global indoor fitness competition that combines running with functional workout stations, designed to test both endurance and strength in a standardized race format. It was founded in 2017 in Germany by Christian Toetzke and Olympic field hockey champion Moritz Fürste. 

Each HYROX race consists of:​

8 x 1 km runs, each followed by a functional workout station.
The sequence includes:​

  1. 1 km run + 1 km SkiErg

  2. 1 km run + 50 m sled push​

  3. 1 km run + 50 m sled pull

  4. 1 km run + 80 m burpee broad jumps​

  5. 1 km run + 1 km rowing​

  6. 1 km run + 200 m kettlebell farmer carry​

  7. 1 km run + 100 m sandbag walking lunges​

  8. 1 km run + 100 wall balls​
