HY5 Lafayette Deka Training includes training all 10 of the Deka modalities, as well as incorporating running into the workouts.
ABOUT
DEKA is a series of functional fitness competitions developed by Spartan Race, designed to test and celebrate your strength, endurance, and mental grit through a standardized 10-zone fitness circuit.
Unlike traditional obstacle course races, DEKA events are held indoors and focus on measurable, repeatable fitness challenges accessible to all levels.

Competition Formats

10 zones, no running.

10 zones, interspersed with 160 meters of running between each zone, totaling 1 mile.

10 zones, each preceded by 500 meters of running, totaling a 5K.
These formats allow participants to choose the level of challenge that suits them best.
